Welcome to Creative Juices, an open mic night for spoken word and original song.
Have something to share? Come and bare your soul to a room full of strangers (and friends). Or just watch and drink beer and get inspired for next time, we like that too.Open mic sign up starts from 6:45pm, don’t be shy. We’ll kick things off at 7pm. $10 suggested koha in the koha jar to buy our brave and wonderful open mic-ers a drink.Creative Juices runs every second Wednesday of the month, featuring cushions, cozy vibes, fairy lights and delicious brews.See less

Funk Royale
The Funk Royale are coming back to Rhyme X Reason Brewery this November 15th, 2025 for a 90 + minute set of their authentic retro funk and soul sound.
They will be playing music from Guitarist & Composer Henry Charles debut album, Funk Royale (now streaming on Spotify and Apple Music, see link below) as well as a growing repertoire of unreleased original material that they've written together as a band. There will be new sounds, both instrumental and vocal with their new soul singer - Emmelia Stevenson.
Expect an exciting and dynamic evening! This is the biggest Funk Royale set so far and they'll be bringing their A-game.
Doors open at 7pm, with the first chord hitting at 7.30pm.

Let's gather once more on the TRIBE dance floor. This is your place to celebrate, connect, shake off all the heavy sh*t and radiate your fullest self-expression. This is your place to be YOU.
As well as celebrating the move from winter to spring, this event will be an opportunity to showcase one emerging artist, alongside our experienced selectors. It's a chance for our community to witness fresh talent, and for a new artist to be seen, supported and celebrated as they begin to bloom.
