Creative Juices
Welcome to Creative Juices, an open mic night for spoken word and original song.
Have something to share? Come and bare your soul to a room full of strangers (and friends). Or just watch and drink beer and get inspired for next time, we like that too. Open mic sign up starts from 6:45pm, don’t be shy. We’ll kick things off at 7pm. $10 suggested koha in the koha jar to buy our brave and wonderful open mic-ers a drink.
Creative Juices runs every third Sunday of the month, featuring cushions, cozy vibes, fairy lights and delicious brews.

Logan Edwards
Multi-faceted instrumentalist and one of the South Island's busiest indie musicians, Logan Edwards, launches a brand new project in the wake of a furious writing session in late 2025.
This is the first time Logan is going out on his own as an artist. While he is still involved with The Beatniks, Ani Saafa, & Chump Change, Logan is branching out with his solo project, in a ‘rewarding, but ultimately scary move’...
The project has been jokingly described as ‘male Phoebe Bridgers’, and combines aspects of alt-pop, indie-rock, and touches of folk.

Tickets are essential as to keep numbers conversation friendly spaces are limited, and we’ll have next months book ready for purchase on the night!
You don’t have to have read the book — but just a heads up, spoilers may come up!
Our book clubs are relaxed, fun, and full of great chat, fresh recommendations, and fellow book lovers.

Robert Glen & The Inversion
Join Robert Glen & The Inversion at 7:00pm as they bring their four-piece electric live show to Rhyme x Reason Brewery, performing songs from the upcoming unreleased album Inversion. Be among the first to hear the new material in this four piece electric format.
Opening the evening is a solo acoustic set from Angel of the Evening, followed by Juno and her band, before Robert Glen & The Inversion take the stage. A night of original New Zealand music.
