Creative Juices
Welcome to Creative Juices, an open mic night for spoken word and original song.
Have something to share? Come and bare your soul to a room full of strangers (and friends). Or just watch and drink beer and get inspired for next time, we like that too. Open mic sign up starts from 6:45pm, don’t be shy. We’ll kick things off at 7pm. $10 suggested koha in the koha jar to buy our brave and wonderful open mic-ers a drink.
Creative Juices runs every third Sunday of the month, featuring cushions, cozy vibes, fairy lights and delicious brews.

Violet Hirst x Michael Llewellyn
We're excited to welcome Violet Hurst and Michael Llewellyn for their Spring Duet tour.
Born in Queenstown on the opening night of her mother's musical, Violet's songwriting carries the theatrics and balladry of her upbringing. Dubbed one of Aotearoa's "most quietly distinctive contemporary songwriters" (13th Floor). She's won support from RNZ, Vice, Flying Nun and Rolling Stone.
Wellington songwriter Michael Llewellyn brings raw lyricism and magnetic live energy, blending indie rock, alternative folk and poetic balladry. Backed by RNZ, Rolling Stone AU/NZ and NZ Student Radio, he's gearing up to release his third album, Strange Horses.

Schnuki
A messy fruit eater and pea of the cosmos, Schnuki weaves her findings of the world into poetic tunes.
Her rich, whimsical imagination - paired with hours of people-watching (upright or hanging from a tree) and an innate sadness - is the recipe for her swirling concoctions of storytelling and song.
Join us for an evening with Schnuki that promises heart pouring conversations and quiet listens that spiral from the silly to the sombre, come wiggle your toes!
Genuine faeries and unserious humans welcome.

Louis Baker
We are so stoked to welcome one of New Zealand's most distinctive voices to the R&R stage.
Louis Baker is bringing his brand new album Trouble to Wānaka on 17th October.
If you haven't yet fallen into Louis's world of slow-cooked modern soul, funk and groove, now is your moment. Rolling Stone called it "luxurious funk-soul" and honestly that sums it up perfectly. A powerhouse vocalist, gifted guitarist and self-producing artist, Louis has been winning over audiences across New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the UK for well over a decade. He's shared stages with Fat Freddy's Drop, Jordan Rakei and Allen Stone, and now he's coming to us.
Trouble drops October 9th. We get him eight days later. Come celebrate with us.

Otautahi heavy hitters - Tealskie are hitting the road for a 5 date NZ tour, kicking it all off in Queenstown on the 25th of September supporting Aussie legend - Reece Mastin and finishing the whole tour in Wanaka on the 24th of October at here Rhyme & Reason.
After the release of their explosive debut EP “Misery in Serenity” in 2025, Tealskie are excited to tour their EP as well as showcase new music while delivering an unforgettable musical experience for new fans and old.Tickets are $20 and available through Under The Radar, so grab your ticket now and witness one of Aotearoa’s most exciting emerging acts.
