Food

We love having food trucks, Now Bao has been parked up for a while and everything they make is incredible! You can order at the truck or online either from your table or in advance.

Music and events

Our community brewery prides itself on hosting a huge range of events, from local musicians to poetry slams and comedy clubs. 

We have live music in the Tap Room most Saturday’s from 4-6pm, featuring local artists, touring bands passing through, DJs or acoustic soloists. Follow us on social media for upcoming shows, and get in touch if you’d like to come play!

14 locally brewed beers on tap

Our fourteen taps are ever-changing, but we always have our core range on offer.

We also love to mix it up with guest taps, collaborations, experiments and more canned offerings in the fridge too. Fresh hops, habanero saisons, coffee IPAs, fruity sours, rice lagers… When it comes to beers, there’s not much we won’t try!

RxR Core Range:

  • Joy Rider Pale Ale (5.2%)

    A balanced AF medley of citrus hops, boasting tropical notes and a straightforward malt profile. It’s a smooth ride that is mellow and crisp, always satisfies.

    Black Lips Porter (5.2%)

    Our quaffable, classic English Style Brown Porter. With a face like that on the label, it’s gotta be good. Cheers to Captain Black Lips!

    Voyage to Nectaron Hazy IPA (6%)

    From the bottom of the earth and beyond, the Nectaron hop oozes juices and engages a silky Hazy IPA voyage. Dank, fresh, fruity, sunshine vibes launch into liftoff.

  • Mt Alpha West Coast IPA (6.7%)

    A classic. An old skool and righteously traditional American IPA. Solid malt ascent with a clean and dry ridgeline. The peak of Mt. Alpha features a full flavour punch to your heart. A local cult classic brewed at the base of Mt. Alpha.

    Fruity Patootie Hazy IPA (4.9%)

    The legend on the label of this beer almost jumped out of her signature Carhartts and shouted, "FRUITY PATOOTIE!" on trying this beer. Well Jessy, we agree, this one ticks all the boxes.

    Happy Pils Pilsner (5.2%)

    Brewed true to style, a crisp and refreshing drop that yields high drinkability, especially any time of any day.

Opening hours 

The Rhyme X Reason Tap Room opens at noon daily. We shut the doors around 8:30pm (ish), but we aren't strangers to staying open later for live music or a comedy show, we are flexible! We just usually quiet down around 8:00pm due to our industrial location.
